Vertical Leap Equations

For years vertical leap has been possibly the hardest thing one could set out to achieve. Lots of testing has taken place and only recently have big break throughs occurred. No matter how one approaches vertical leap, there is always one rule which bines it together, along with everything else on this earth….physics.

As with most things in life, vertical leap can be broken down into some simple equations. The more power you can exert on the ground when taking off, the higher you will go. Aslong as you can continuelly increase this power, their will be no limits to your gains.

So the answer seems simple, power is the key! But what exaclty is power and how can we increase it?

Ok taking it back to physics again, we find:

Power = Force * Acceleration

Which can be broken down further into:

= Weight * (Speed/Time)

So the greater the force you exert, and the faster you apply it, the higher you will jump. All very well so far. Most other programs which actually bother to attempt what affects your jumping height get atleast this far. It is how we use that knowledge however which will have our program taking you higher & higher.
