Re: about the vertical project program

you don't need to adjust your upns every week because your already got  a bonus that give you the whole upn for the 15 week, and all what you gotta do is measuring the upn for the first week and u got everything!

Well theres your first mistake, you're never supposed to use anything that weighs you down when do the upns.

Hi I have also purchased TVP at the beginning of 2006. When I used to ask before purchasing it my every question was answered pronto but when I started to have a problem with my gains no replies to my complaints. Don't get me wrong I am no hater trying to destroy TVP i was just a guy who was so keen on increasing vert that I had only one last final resort TVP. Last resort because it was the most expensive and it involved going everyday to the weightroom and working your ass off. However despite my effort I can't get over the 70cm vert. I'm now confused and disappointed that I was naive and I don't really know what to do. I wouldn't be suprised if after all of this TVP was just a scam. I started noticing after I have recieved an email from TVP where they announced to prepare your credit cards because some new stuff was coming out which is even better than double your vertical. Does anybody know what to do to get over 70cm ?? TVP, Jumpsoles didn't help at all. The only benefit to some skinny guys might be the fact that while doing the program you increase body mass and get bulkier overall.

Well first of all, tvp or any other vert program wont work for you if you are skinny. If you want to get bulky and stuff, i would suggest doing Doe Defranco's westside barbell for skinny bastards.

That is complete rubbish. It doesnt matter whether you are skinny or not. My friend has a 37" vertical and he is very skinny.

Re: about the vertical project program

I've altered my UPNs from now on I have an 8 for S/L hypers 9 for maximum height jumps  12 for flying step ups and two 5 for the S/L calf jumps & curls hope this works. I've got a question I know that you measure your UPN's before the programme but do you change them during it ? Im just curious

I fully agree with deolm I know a couple of guys who have really skinny and small frames but their verticals are off the charts! I also want to say that I want to vomit when I see the marketing precedures of TVP they really shovel so much crap until you can't stand having a s%#@y vertical and just buy the programme. I just hope that in the nearby future I will go over the magic 30 (whether with TVP or without) inch vert (whether with TVP or without)  and reach 35 because from where I stand today a 40 inch vert is just a dream. Besides I've noticed that all of this vertical "development" will soon take its toll on me sad but hell its worth trying smile

Decided to measure my vert after 5 days of rest and my vert is 65-67 cm sadsadsad My vert 3 years ago was 68 no progress :[. AA Jumpsoles, plyometric exercises weightroom, 20 weeks of TVP and nothing even budged sad I'm starting to think this is my limit for vert sad

Re: about the vertical project program

skinny ppl can't gain vert, oh god who said that lol
Think he might have been just trying to get across that point you should have a sufficient strength base before beginning a vertical leap program

Hold on! You can always increase the power your exherting Marco...
And aslong as you can increase this, you can always increase your vert.

Look at your training, nutrition, supplements used in recovery, rest, sleep etc etc
There's is always room for improvement.

Re: about the vertical project program

Despite the fact that AA3 is considered the worst Vert program lately it was the first I ever did (at the age of 15). Didn't get a high vert (68cm) but it helped in my quickness (60m dash 7.35 sec) and a 2,90 long jump from a standstill. Maybe one day I'll do start doing it again but for now I'm trying to get something out of TVP. BTW could anybody who has TVP or knows anything about power output could comment on the weight I've been liftin druing the program (weight plus olympic barbell)
Squat 75kg
Deadlift 73kg
High Pulls 60kg
and S/L high pulls 35Kg
but I've lowered all the weights because I've seen a journal of a guy who is "identical" in size and height so I started liftin as much as he does ( because he has gained a lot from the programme) but he lifts a lot less.

Re: about the vertical project program

i 've done TVP too and only got about 6" from it..did it probably 80% right...forgot to adjust UPN loading but in the end i done the 14 weeks than done 1 week each of the UPN's with correct loading...at the time i was doing a fair bit of bike riding which may have been cutting into recovery but mainly it just took too long to do
