jumping

hey wats the main key to jumping higher off of one leg? i mean do u put ur knee as high as possible or do u put a lot of force in little time or both????

I don't know what you mean by putting your knee as high as possible but definetly putting a lot of force in a very small amount of time is gonna put you up there.  And as far as I understand it the hamstrings play a big role in the force part especially off of one foot.

Did you mean drive your other (not your take off) knee upwards? If you did (or even if you didnt) then yeah that helps alot. Also, swing your arms up as hard as you can to get more inches too.

jump roping with one leg is the most efficient  exercises to improve your jumping with one leg. just jump normally with the leg that you want to improve and then change styles. go faster than slower.

don't be concerned about increasing you vertical with one leg. jumping with both legs is really what matters. you have better control, you can do better dunks, it's better for grabbing rebounds, blocking etc..
