Weighted Vests

Has anyone used a weighted vest and got results from it because I'm thinking about using one but I'm not sure if it will work. If you did use one, where did you get it? Thanks

Re: Weighted Vests

mate save your spine. weight vest will screw up your bak. also if you are thinking of jumping around in a weight vest then that will make you a slow jumper, meaning you ll never increase your vert. secondly if you have TVP? which i think you do. that is the only program you should be doing. try i again and make you upns like 5 - 9. i guatrantee you will gain at least 4 inches. TVP is the only hope for you to increase your vert. if you cant do it with tvp give up.

Re: Weighted Vests

Why is this the only program that I should be doing? Have you not read mine and a few others testimonials that it didnt work for us? How can you garentee anything unless you are from TVP? And if thats the case then of course you will tell me not to do anything other than that. And another thing, people have been increasing their verticals years before the vertical project came along, so I dont see any reason why I cant do the same with another program. Thanks, but no thanks.

Re: Weighted Vests

im not from tvp im just saying that of course you did tvp wrong. its just when you asked about weight vests i assumed that you are a real begginer. why would you spend another 100 bucks on sumting that is guaranteed to screw up your bak if you use considerable weight. that is a scientific fact. especially jumping around with a weight vest on. if you knew anything about physics you would realise how crap weight vests are. And you should also do the tvp again. youve done it wrong. full stop. people who get crappy results have done it wrong. anyway im not taking a strike at you, just telling it like it is.

Re: Weighted Vests

All that jaygo said is all true, even if you did do it right, why not do it again, and the most important thing in tvp is the upn #'s, that the key to increasing your vert, you might have had many high #'s and thts what might have messed you up. And the weight vest, please if you want to have a high vertical dont buy it, it's a waste of money.

Re: Weighted Vests

Ok then. Thank you very much to both of you for your advice. The reason why I was asking about the weighted vests was because I have heard of success stories from different people using them, not theories in physics saying that they dont work. I dont go by theories, but from real peoples results. Thanks

Re: Weighted Vests

I'm not sure exactly as I did it over a year ago but I remember only gaining about 3".
Also, I just wanted to say that I can understand where you are coming from about jumping around with a heavy weights vest on will make you slower, however that would only be if you loaded it up fully as soon as you got it. If you put the weight in gradually (like you would gain weight if you put on muscle mass) then your body would become accustomed to it and by the time you put in all the weights then you would not be jumping slower. This is probably what people have done to get good results from using weighted vests. Thanks

Re: Weighted Vests

VJB its got heaps of programs and is not that expensive. youll need sum weights or to go to a gym. from testemonial iv read it seems to be pretty good. sum people even think its better than tvp. So VJB all the other program are crap.

Re: Weighted Vests

Maybe. The reason I am looking for something else is because I only found 1 gym that had all the stuff needed for all the exercises and it was really expensive. I dont really have the money to rejoin. Thats why, so any other successes with other programs then let me know. Thanks
